Kevin Lewis is the main character in the book, he is an MIT college graduate and was invited for joining the MIT Blackjack team in the year 1993.
Jason Fisher and Andre Martinez were to two top players in the team, Lewis had been recruited by these two players. The team had been financed by a character named Micky Rosa, he had organized around one or two teams to play at the casinos on the Vegas strip, till now the new team has been among the most profitable.
